Childcare Providers & Licensees
Child Care Centres
Child Care Centres provide full-day or part-time child care for babies, toddlers, and children under the age of six. Care for primary school age children before and after school and during school holidays may also be available in some centres. In some rural locations full day child care is provided in the local preschool.
Family Day Care
Family Day Care is a childcare service provided in the homes of approved Family Day Care careproviders, supported by a local specialist coordination and resource team.
Out of School Hours Care
Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care provide supervised recreational activities and care for primary school age children. OSHC services offer a range of age appropriate activities which encourage children to interact with friends, learn life skills, problem solve and be challenged by new experiences in a safe and relaxed environment.
